Project and objectives: The GROUP program is a 12-week pelvic floor muscle exercise class given to a group of six to eight women and supervised by a physiotherapist. Its aim is to treat urinary incontinence in women. Over the past 10 years, this program has been evaluated in controlled laboratory studies. It has shown promising results, but has not yet been evaluated in a real-life environment.

The aim of this research project is to evaluate the implementation of the GROUP program for the treatment of urinary incontinence in women, in a clinical setting within the Quebec public health system, i.e. at the CHUM.

The project also aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the GROUP program in a real-life clinical setting.
